Here are my top recommendations for reputable affiliate programs you can plug-in to start your online business.

To become successful in affiliate marketing requires you to find your prospective customers first, find out what products or services they want and are willing to spend their hard earned money on and then finding those products to recommend to them for a cut of the profits.

So joining affiliate programs first then trying to advertise these products and services to find your customers will make you flat broke before you know it.

Therefore me advising you to join affiliate programs without knowing what area your current prospects are interested in, or what business model you have is quite a tall order.

But not impossible

The two companies I'm about to mention both have a vast catalogue of products available on every possible subject imaginable

So whatever interests your current or future prospective customers have, you'll be able to find a huge number of items you can recommend to them instantly.

My first Recommendation here is ClickBank, they are primarily a third party payment processor company but with a built in affiliate program which allows every single account holder to promote any of the products of every one of their sellers.

As ClickBank handles the financial transaction, when a referral sale is made they are the ones to pay out the referer's commissions, that sum is deposited into the referer's account within two minutes of the transaction being made

Then twice each month on the 1st and 15th, if the account balance is above $30 for US affiliates or $100 for non US residents, they mail out a check for that balance to the account holder's home address.

I'm sure you'll agree this is quite a brilliant idea and that has prompted other companies to copy this model and the leading light of the bunch is my second recommendation PayDotCom

Although they don't include the payment processing side, opting for PayPal to handle that side of things so affiliate commissions are paid directly by the seller monthly, the product line-up is again vast.

My last recommendation is for a new affiliate network site called PaySpree, which I believe will quickly equal if not surpass PayDotCom and maybe even Clickbank!

The reason for this is they combine the best traits of both of those companies, unlike PayDotCom they handle all of the affiliate payments just as ClickBank do, but use PayPal as the payment processor so no waiting until your account reaches a qualifying sum or for a check to arrive by post and then clear into your high street bank account.

This is done by giving the affiliates a percentage of the sales instead of a percentage of each sale, there commission levels for affiliates range from 25% upto the full 100% sale price, so when four sales are made paying a commission level of 25%, the product owner is paid the full amount of the first three and the affiliate gets the full amount of the fourth paid instantly into their PayPal account.

And they have the cheapest fees of any affiliate network at just a dollar per transaction, add that to the products that pay 100% commissions and the instant pay-out via PayPal makes it the best deal I've ever come across.
